e-Safety

We use the Internet in school to raise educational standards, to promote pupil achievement, to support the professional work of staff and to enhance the school’s management operations. We also appreciate that our pupils use the Internet widely outside of school and need to learn how to evaluate Internet information and to take responsibility of their own safety and security.

Children are aware of the benefits of using the Internet, these include;

• access to world-wide educational resources including museums and art galleries

   

• educational and cultural exchanges between pupils world-wide (Web play)

   

• access to experts in many fields.
